To prepare a quote for the service, you need to provide specific information about the planned analyses, as service prices depend on many different factors described in detail below.
The price depends on:
- The number of samples in the project (the greater the number of samples, the more favourable the price per sample analysis);
- Output: that is, how much information/data the client needs from the analysis of one sample. Output can be specified as:
01the number of millions of paired or total reads (M reads);02the number of Tags (in sequencing Amplicons)03the amount of data in gigabytes (Gb) per sample;04coverage of the genome under investigation (e.g. 30x)
- Project scope: depending on the client's needs, the price may include:
01nucleic acid extraction;02library preparation;03sequencing;04bioinformatics analysis
- Project type: our offer covers a wide range of services, and each type requires a different approach, reagents, etc. Therefore, the price for a 16S Amplicon Sequencing V3+V4 project will differ from that for mRNA-seq or small RNA-seq.
- Sequencing platform / technology: the costs of analysis on the Illumina platform differ from those on PacBio. Prices are also closely linked to the number of samples and the final amount of data/reads per sample (output).
To learn about prices, please specify your requirements (what the project should cover, how many samples it should include, which organism is involved, how much data per sample is needed, etc.). We encourage you to complete our project specification form to help you review the scope of our services and define your requirements, and to enable us to prepare a quotation tailored to your project.
