To ensure the highest standards across our laboratory and bioinformatics services, we perform Quality control at 3 stages:

01
Samples
02 *
Libraries
03
The
quality control of client-provided samples.
* Quality control of prepared libraries (when library preparation is included in the service).
Quality control of sequencing data.
* If applicable to the project

Therefore, every project begins with sample quality control (Sample QC) to ensure that the material supplied by the client meets the criteria for the selected technique. Depending on the material, the appropriate QC analysis is performed:

RNA

Purity testNanodrop
Molecule integrityBioanalyzer 2100/GX

Before library preparation, each client-provided RNA/DNA sample undergoes quality control and is assigned to one of four categories (A, B, C or D). The assessment criteria are described in "Criteria for assessing the quality of supplied RNA/DNA".

We also recommend that clients who cannot verify the quality of the material intended for analysis before shipping, or who often have difficulty obtaining high-quality material, learn about the options for sending additional samples for analysis and the QC Intervention Package. To add the package to an order, contact the Account Manager at contact@weseq.it.
