Find out how the A-D quality scale works for RNA and DNA and what each category means for further project execution.
SAMPLE QUALITY ASSESSMENTeach sample before library preparation
AQualifiedThe sample quality meets all requirements for library preparation. The total amount of material is sufficient to prepare at least 2 standard libraries.
BQualifiedThe sample quality meets all requirements for library preparation. The total amount is sufficient to prepare one library.
CThe sample does not qualify for standard library preparationLibrary preparation carries a risk of failure. The client may choose to prepare a library from this sample; however, for a "C" sample, compliance with the contractual output requirements cannot be guaranteed.
DThe sample does not qualify for further proceduresWe do not recommend using this sample. The client may choose to prepare a library from this sample at their own risk; however, for a "D" sample, compliance with the contractual output requirements cannot be guaranteed.
