If samples submitted for analysis do not meet the minimum quality requirements and are assigned category C or D during quality control (QC) in accordance with the internal weSEQ.IT quality control protocol, the client may withdraw from further analysis. In such cases, three options are available:

1. Submission of new biological material

The client may submit a new biological sample.

  • If the sample requires repeat DNA/RNA extraction by weSEQ.IT, the client will be charged for this extraction in accordance with the current service price list.
  • Irrespective of extraction, every new sample undergoes repeat quality control (QC), which is also charged in accordance with the current price list.
  • Irrespective of the number of samples, the cost of transporting the new material/samples to the laboratory is charged in accordance with the current price list.

2. Refund to a bank account

If the client decides to withdraw from further analysis, they are entitled to a refund less the handling fee specified in the agreement or quote, under the "Technical parameters" clause, item 2:

  • If analysis of a sample assigned category C or D is cancelled, a handling fee of 20% of the sample analysis value is charged.
  • If all samples assigned category C or D are withdrawn, the client is charged a handling fee of 20% of the total order value, but no less than 1350 PLN net.
  • If the service included DNA/RNA extraction, its full cost is charged on the invoice. Nucleic acid extraction precedes quality control (QC) and therefore has already been completed by the QC stage and is payable in full.

3. Refund in the form of a voucher

An alternative to a cash refund is a voucher that can be used for any weSEQ.IT services within 6 months of the voucher issue date. The date on which samples are sent for analysis is considered the service fulfilment date.

  • The voucher value is reduced by a handling fee of 20% of the value of the analysed samples, in accordance with the agreement or quote, under the "Technical parameters" clause, item 2.
  • The voucher can be used for future projects within the validity period specified above and in accordance with the Voucher Terms and Conditions.
