Sequencing results, together with bioinformatics analysis where included in the project, are delivered by e-mail via a link to a password-protected pCloud folder.
The instructions below explain how to download the entire folder to your computer in a single operation.
First-time pCloud users
01Download the free pCloud application for your operating system from the official pCloud website: https://www.pcloud.com/download-free-online-cloud-file-storage.html
02Install the application on your computer by following the on-screen instructions.
03Create a free pCloud account (this takes approximately 1 minute):
- Open the link: https://www.pcloud.com/?ref=95558
- In the "Join pCloud FOR FREE" panel on the right, enter your e-mail address and password.
04Ready!
Downloading data with a free pCloud account
- Inform your Account Manager that you have a pCloud account and provide the e-mail address associated with it.
- Your Account Manager will share the results folder with your pCloud account. Once you accept the invitation by e-mail, you will have immediate access to all files without purchasing a paid plan.
Data access methods:
- in a web browser, after signing in to your pCloud account
- on your computer via the pCloud virtual drive, if the pCloud application is installed. In Windows, open "This PC", locate "pCloud Drive" and copy the required files to any folder on your computer.
Downloading data with a premium pCloud account
01Open the email from weSEQ.IT with the sequencing results and click on the link to the pCloud folder.
02Enter the access password provided by e-mail or SMS. Important! Enter the password without colons, spaces or quotation marks.
03Click "Download" and select "Save to pCloud". If you are not logged in, pCloud will prompt you here to enter the email address and password for your personal pCloud account.
04Choose a place/folder where the data should be saved (we can create a dedicated folder for project results) and click "Save".
05Done. The data are now available in your pCloud account.
IMPORTANT
Please download the files from the server as soon as possible, for example to your pCloud account, as they will be deleted from the shared folder after 14 days. If you would like the files to be deleted sooner, immediately after download, please provide the exact deletion date to your Account Manager.
