Together with the analysis results you will receive a Report containing information about the adapter sequences and kits used. To open it, download the contents of the folder and open the "index.html" file. For the report to display correctly, the "src" folder must also be downloaded to the same location as the "index" file.
The Report may contain quality control results for raw and cleaned sequencing data or the results of bioinformatics analysis depending on the scope of the service.
The Report may be provided as a PDF file or as an online / interactive .html document. The instructions and video below explain how to download, open and use the .html version of the Report.
1. Downloading the Report
To open and use the Report correctly, log in to the shared online folder or open the data folder on the supplied external storage device.
- Log in to pCloud using the link and password provided with the analysis results.
- Then download the entire "Raport" folder
- To display the Report correctly, download the entire contents of the folder and open the "index.html" or "index_en.html" file. In addition to the "index" file, the "src" folder and, for bioinformatics analyses, the "customer_backup" folder must be downloaded to the same location.
2. Opening the Report - kit and adapter sequences used
To display the Report correctly, download the entire contents of the folder and open the "index.html" or "index_en.html" file.
The first section of the Report contains information about the client commissioning the analysis and the project specification, including the platform, kit and adapter sequences used.
3. Navigating the Report / locating results
The Report is divided into sections. In the results section, each analysis includes a description and example plots/diagrams presenting the results obtained.
The Report contains only selected diagrams/plots. All files generated for a given analysis, including files at different resolutions and editable spreadsheets, are located in the "customer_backup" folder. The Report contains links to specific folders to make them easier to access.
4. Information about the methods and tools used
The end of the Report provides consolidated information about the methods and software used, the locations of results from specific analyses and a glossary of terms.
We also provide an example service description that can be used as a template when preparing the Materials and Methods section of a publication or grant proposal.
